National Horse Blankets was founded by Sandi Heitritter in 2003. She wanted to manufacture a product that would not only keep horses dry, warm, and protected, but also stand up to long-term use. Over the years, NHB had carried many brands that only filled some of these needs. She then set out to design and build her own line of blankets with the best raw material and assembly processes. She was also very proud that this could be accomplished in the USA. Sandi was a true American Cowgirl living and promoting that lifestyle from a young age.
